This month, n Hito you are facing a massive and important Latin American, Latin American Encounter of A Roof for my Country, the ELA .
El Encuentro Latinoamericano is the most important milestone UTPMP, every two years brings together teams from across the continent to work, think, propose and produce guidelines on the impact of our work with families the continent most vulnerable.
This meeting will bring to more than 3,000 people, including volunteers and leadership camps and neighborhoods where they work UTPMP countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
This year chosen as the host country is Chile, which in its Bicentennial year has added to the goal set by the youth of the roof to reach a 2010 without settlements, with all the families live in this situation accessing a permanent housing solution.
In this context, Paraguay have qualified for 45 seats, which are insufficient considering the great efforts made every day hundreds Assumption volunteers and Alto Parana. L to selection was undoubtedly a very difficult task. As a team of directors and coordinators are aware that without the commitment and support of absolutely all volunteers of the organization, reaching the 592 families that now have with a more dignified would have been impossible .

Upon selection
Of the 45 seats, a number was assigned to the team of Alto Paraná and the rest of the team in Asuncion. Directors, coordinators, heads of workers, bosses collection and 1 (one) active volunteer in each area (as recommended by each coordinator) received a direct invitation to participate in the ELA.
On the open invitation
However, there are few vacant seats so we decided to make an open call, where all volunteers who wish to travel to the commonwealth can express their interest by sending an email to voluntariadoparaguay @ untechoparamipais.org with your personal data and answering the following questions:
1. Why work in settlements?
2. do you like ELA travel?
3. do think you should be selected to travel @?

About traveling
The cost has not been defined but would be around $ 250 (includes transportation and accommodation). On Wednesday 29 September is planned as the starting date back to Asuncion on Monday 04 October at night. * Subject to change
